Welcome.

A warm welcome to Open House. We are a community-centred venue in the heart of Hathersage village designed for gathering, growing, exchanging and enjoying.

At Open House, we create space to nourish the mind, body and soul of the community.

Community and connection is an essential part of all of our wellbeing and something to be cherished, and in a place like Hathersage nestled among the peaks and moorland, there is a particularly good reason to celebrate where we are and what we have to be grateful for.

Our Community.

We hold space for events and gatherings that the local community want to organise. Think book clubs, cinema clubs, storytelling, workshops, art exhibitions, mental health and well-being groups or clinics, and seed swaps. The idea is to keep things flowing and fresh, be in tune with the seasons and the local vibe and create space for everyone.

Our Events.

‘Upstairs’ at Open House we offer classes and events that are curated seasonally to support and embellish our wholeness.

Our 3 Pillar Programme offers teachings of daily practices as a foundation for our whole-being. This includes daily movement, meditation and breathwork classes. We are also excited to grow our ‘pop-up’ offerings of Events & Workshops that include sound baths, creative workshops, poetry nights and singing groups.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon!

Our Daily Kitchen.

Seasonal, authentic and nourishing. Soul foods, whole foods and bowl foods cooked with love. Our food is made fresh to order in our kitchen, using organic, locally-sourced and seasonal produce wherever we can.

‘Downstairs’ at Open House, our Daily Kitchen and Marketplace is now open daily from 8-4ish, and we are planning a series of ‘pop-up’ Supper Clubs in collaboration with guest chefs - coming soon!
