We’re thrilled to welcome back Hot Flamingo, the amazing gypsy jazz band that sold out our inaugural Music as Medicine event last September. This talented ensemble brings vintage jazz to life with flair and charm, featuring the captivating vocals of Molly Amour, the dazzling gypsy guitars of JD England and Alfie Russell, and a rich, dynamic rhythm section with Emily Chaplais on violin, Charlie Fothergill on clarinet, and Kate Whittaker on bass.
Expect toe-tapping swing, soulful melodies, and a joyful celebration of 1930s Parisian jazz. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or just looking for a magical musical evening, this promises to be a night to remember.
The line up is:
- Molly Amour - vocals
- Emily Chaplais - violin
- Charlie Fothergill - clarinet
- John England and Alfie Russell - guitars
- Kate Whittaker - double bass
