As the earth begins to soften, stretch, and awaken, you’re invited into a nourishing Spring Awakening Cacao Ceremony: a space to gently emerge from winter, reconnect with your body and heart, and set intentions for the season ahead.
We will open the space ceremonially, arriving together with presence and intention and honouring the elements. This is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and attune to the subtle energy of spring: growth, renewal, clarity, and fresh beginnings.
Through gentle movement and breathwork we’ll prepare the body and nervous system to receive cacao. We’ll then drink ceremonial cacao with reverence and intention, allowing it to open the heart, soften the mind, and deepen our connection to ourselves.
We’ll continue with gentle, intuitive yoga movement, allowing the cacao to move through the body. From here, you’ll be guided into a restful, immersive journey / meditation, designed to help you release the heaviness of Winter and sense what is ready to grow, bloom or be nurtured within you. Planting your intentions for the cycle ahead.
We’ll close with grounding and integration, followed by optional journaling, card pulls, and a gentle sharing circle: offering space to be witnessed, reflect, or simply sit in quiet connection.
What is Cacao?
Cacao is a gentle, heart-opening plant medicine. It supports increased blood flow, enhances body awareness, and helps quiet the thinking mind, making it easier to access meditative, intuitive, and imaginative states. In this softened, receptive space, we can listen more deeply to our inner guidance and the subtle messages of the season.

Layla first discovered yoga as a way to heal a variety of physical & mental ailments. Noticing the difference in mindset, yoga very quickly became a daily practice. Layla travelled to Bali to complete her 500 hour training. The energy from this sacred land will always be infused into her classes. Layla’s training had a focus on Hatha, Vinyasa and a variety of Pranayama and Meditation techniques.
Some words from Layla:
‘My favourite style to practice and teach is slow and mindful, with a focus on active poses & strength for empowerment & injury prevention. I love seeing people transform their energy in a yoga class, walking in and out of the room a lot lighter and more connected. I feel very blessed to teach yoga and share my passion with you.’
