Sophie is a multiple-certified breathwork practitioner and passionate advocate for reimagining the way we approach wellbeing. Her work is about creating real lasting change not quick fixes or surface level hacks. She believes that in the midst of our busy noisy world we all deserve space to pause, reconnect with our bodies, and feel safe grounded.
Sophie’s work combines the mystical with the latest science in the breathwork. Her extensive training is Trauma informed and she is committed to holding safe spaces that meet the emotional and physical needs of people attending the sessions.
Some words from Sophie:
“I don’t see breathwork as a technique so much as a remembering. My sessions aren’t about control or performance, they're about slowing down enough to listen. To the rhythm of your own breath, to what your body’s been trying to say, to the quiet underneath it all.
I draw inspiration from nature and human connection, to ourselves and each other. Nature has a way of reminding us that everything moves, everything changes, everything breathes. The work I share is gentle and grounded in that same knowing.
My hope is that through breath, you find a way back, not to who you were but to the steady, living presence that’s always been with you.”

Emily is a Sheffield-based yoga teacher, with ten years of teaching experience. Trained originally in vinyasa & hatha yoga, Emily has studied yoga, breathwork and yoga philosophy in the UK, India and beyond.
With a strong belief that there is no one-size-fits-all approach in yoga, Emily teaches a variety of different styles. Whether a dynamic vinyasa class or a deep and meditative stillness practice, Emily’s classes are warm, engaging and welcoming.
Some words from Emily:
“My classes are playful but grounded, encouraging students to have a strong awareness of their breath. I believe that yoga can change the world and my goal is to strengthen the body and quiet the mind, for happier, healthier humans. We spend too much time rushing around, with our brains chattering away. For me yoga is about slowing all of this down, being more present, finding joy in movement and living more fully. "
Emily is the Yoga and Wholebeing Lead at Open House. When she’s not at Open House, Emily’s love of the outdoors takes her off into the hills, or you’ll find her pottering in the garden.
