Kid’s yoga is a play-based adaptation of traditional yoga, focusing on children’s physical, mental, and emotional development rather than perfect poses. All abilities and bodies are welcome, these are inclusive sessions.
In Helen’s Kid’s Yoga classes expect to embark upon a nature themed story, taking the group on a yoga journey - expect noise, laughter, imagination, fun and calm! Each session has a connection to our current season, weather or moon cycle, using yoga to help us learn about the world around us.
Subtly incorporated into each session are floor based and standing poses, breathing techniques, sound making, relaxation, reflection and opportunities for touch/self massage.
Helen’s Kid’s Yoga classes are fun for the whole family and are a lovely connecting activity to enjoy together, with parents invited to get involved. The classes are aimed at children aged 3-10 years old but this is a guide age, you know your child best.

I'm a Children's yoga teacher, Early Years Educator and Forest School Leader with a deep passion about children's development and supporting families to connect with nature. I love being creative in my approach to children's learning bringing storytelling, folklore and imagination into sessions to spark joy. Nurturing children's spirit to use their bodies and minds to express themselves through yoga and creative movement. Weaving techniques into our practice that can be taken into daily life and feed those sensory seeking souls.
You'll find me outside... whether it's work or play it's where I'd rather be. Adventures with my two rambunctious boys, husband and a sweet dog we're outside rain or shine.
