Yes! Dogs are very welcome in our café, big or small.

There’s usually no need to book as we have several large communal tables and always a space somewhere to squeeze. We do take bookings for special occasions and large groups of 8+ people, get in touch if you’d like make a booking.

We have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options on our menu.

We will do our best to cater for any other special dietary requirements, allergies, and intolerances, however we handle all allergens in our kitchen and cannot guarantee that our dishes are allergen-free. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please inform a member of staff before you order.

Our café and all events held downstairs are wheelchair accessible, and we also have an accessible WC on our ground floor.

For events held upstairs, this is up a flight of stairs and is therefore unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

Yes we do! We’ve hosted birthdays, private suppers, baby showers, weddings, and wakes.

Please get in contact with your preferred date, time, number of guests and any other requests, and we will get back to you with a quote as well as work with you to create a custom menu.

We do hire out our upstairs space as part of our private catered events service.

For any other events held upstairs, this tends to be run in collaboration with Open House as part of our events programme. If you are interested in running an event with us, please get in touch.

We have a community WhatsApp group where we post classes and events as soon as they go live, including a community-run 'Pay It Forward' group where people offer up their free spots if they can't make it last minute.

We do not have our own parking at Open House, the nearest parking is at Oddfellows Road Car Park in Hathersage. We are also positioned 10 minutes walk away from Hathersage train station and directly next to a bus stop, and encourage the use of public transport available to Hathersage where possible.

We are right on the Main Road in Hathersage, between Cintras and Go Outdoors.

For events held upstairs at Open House, please come round the side entrance in the alleyway between our building and Go Outdoors. It's the first door on the left after the chalk board!
