Join Sam for this special workshop designed to help us move with more freedom and ease. In this supportive and collaborative session we will learn and practice fundamental movements to develop greater range in our bodies.
In this unique session we’ll focus on different, dynamic ways to open up the hips and shoulders through their different ranges of motion.
Ultimately, through this workshop we’ll gain the knowledge and tools to create our own 5–20 minute foundational mobility practice—that can easily be integrated into daily life, choosing what works best for us as individuals, from a range of options.
This workshop is for anyone who wants to move better and feel better, including:
Busy people who want to learn to improve their movement capabilities in just 5–20 minutes per day
Anyone curious about moving more, who perhaps aren’t into yoga, or are turned off by yoga
Active people—runners, hikers, climbers, cyclists,—wanting to support their performance and recovery, or wanting to learn to “spin up” their bodies before doing their sport
Anyone with stiffness or aches who would like to learn to free up their movement and find more ease in daily life
No experience needed; all levels are welcome.
Wear non-restrictive clothing; layers that can be put on / taken off easily will be helpful.

Sam’s journey into yoga was initially to manage sports stiffness and injuries (running and triathlon!) Slowly, his body started to change, and, over time, it became clear that moving with awareness, learning to listen to how his body actually felt, and connecting more to stillness were supporting him in ways beyond the purely physical. Ultimately yoga created space in his life to recognise the ways he was living weren’t working, and that sharing yoga was part of his path. Sam trained in Power Yoga at The Power Yoga Company, London in 2021.
Some words from Sam:
‘As I’ve taught yoga in different studios, 1-2-1 and with small groups, I’ve understood that my strength lies in giving people a space to slow down, rather than speed up. It seems to me that for many people in the modern world there are already ample opportunities to be faster. So now my classes focus on finding a balance between just enough flowing movement to experience an energy shift, and encouraging development of awareness, acceptance and recharging through rest.’
Alongside teaching yoga Sam is a self-employed therapist, trained in Cognitive Hypnotherapy. His therapy work helps him bring acceptance and compassion to yoga teaching, and the “hypnotherapy” part of his skillset helps with guiding people to relax even more deeply at the end of yoga sessions.
