Rowan Rheingans.

*Saturday 22nd now fully booked! New date added on Friday 21st November.*

"Spectacularly beautiful, vivid songwriting" - Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2

Rowan Rheingans is an award-winning fiddle player, banjoist, songwriter and theatre-maker regarded as one of the foremost innovators in the English folk scene. Best known for her work with acclaimed bands Lady Maisery and The Rheingans Sisters, Rowan will perform a clutch of solo gigs this autumn, embracing the hibernating season with an intimate show of reimagined songs, emerging sonic adventures and musical connection in the warmth of small venues. A rare treat!

Rowan has won two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, is a six-times nominee, and her courageous one woman theatre show Dispatches on the Red Dress won a Fringe First award after a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2021, Rowan was awarded the Paul Hamlyn Award for composers.
