Light Up Your Life: a Bountiful Day of Breathwork, Nature, Journalling and Creative Collage with Beverley Ward and Sophie Kirkton.

As we move beyond Beltane and head towards the summer solstice, the world is coming into full bloom and so are we. The energetic month of May calls on us to reignite our inner flame and rediscover our passion for life through joy, play, creativity and connection.

As the world blossoms and flourishes, the Flower Moon calls us to embrace the fullest expression of ourselves by connecting with others, trying out new things, making space for creativity and seeking out moments of delight.

In this full day workshop with writer and creative coach Beverley Ward and breathwork practitioner Sophie Kirkton, we’ll connect with our inner passion and engage with our senses out in the natural world and in the beautiful environment at Open House. We’ll walk, write, breathe and create our new reality in words and images, emerging full of energy for the summer months ahead.

Our schedule for the day:

10am: Meet downstairs at Open House

10.15-11.15am: Sensory writing walk in the local area

11.30am-1pm: Breathwork and journalling

1-2pm: Lunch (included)

2-4pm: Collaging/visioning

Sophie’s work combines the mystical with the latest science in the breathwork. Her extensive training is Trauma informed and she is committed to holding safe spaces that meet the emotional and physical needs of people attending the sessions.

  • Beverley Ward is a writer, facilitator, life coach and recovering workaholic who is slowly learning to embrace a slower, more nurturing pace of life following trauma and burnout. She uses writing and art as ways to connect with inner wisdom and loves to help other people to do the same.
