Shonagh Laurie is a jazz vocalist wanting to share her music before she makes her way to university to pursue her dream. As an 18 year old singer-songwriter making her way into the industry, she released an album on bandcamp last year and she has just recently released a music video on YouTube.
She has done multiple gigs across Sheffield and the Hope Valley, and she has chosen to do a special, final ‘farewell’ gig here at Open House, with support from musical duo Laurie & Regan.

Shonagh’s entire life was built on music, her love and emotion is expressed through every song she writes, her imagination and passion never stops to thrive within her and her music. Shonagh is constantly dipping in and out of different genres and vocal ranges of which she shows in every performance. Shonagh’s voice ranges from strong and powerful to soft and sweet and the emotion in her songs can move her audience to tears.

Matt Laurie and Val Regan have a long and fabulous musical relationship and are very happy to be performing together for the first time in many years, having enjoyed writing and arranging a selection of folk tunes for fiddle and bouzouki, handpan and voice.
