Join Emily, as the festive season gathers pace, for this special December workshop - an opportunity to pause, breathe and move into Christmas with intention.
Expect a soft but flowing candle-lit movement practice, intention setting and a spacious, grounding relaxation. Drawing on themes from yoga philosophy, we will reflect on how yoga's timeless teachings can support us in navigating the pressures and pace of this time of year.
You'll leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more connected — better able to move through the festive season with intention and presence.
No experience needed; all levels are welcome.

Emily is a Sheffield-based yoga teacher, with ten years of teaching experience. Trained originally in vinyasa & hatha yoga, Emily has studied yoga, breathwork and yoga philosophy in the UK, India and beyond.
With a strong belief that there is no one-size-fits-all approach in yoga, Emily teaches a variety of different styles. Whether a dynamic vinyasa class or a deep and meditative stillness practice, Emily’s classes are warm, engaging and welcoming.
Some words from Emily:
“My classes are playful but grounded, encouraging students to have a strong awareness of their breath. I believe that yoga can change the world and my goal is to strengthen the body and quiet the mind, for happier, healthier humans. We spend too much time rushing around, with our brains chattering away. For me yoga is about slowing all of this down, being more present, finding joy in movement and living more fully. "
Emily is the Yoga and Wholebeing Lead at Open House. When she’s not at Open House, Emily’s love of the outdoors takes her off into the hills, or you’ll find her pottering in the garden.
