This calming class offers a blend of gentle, restorative movement, breathwork, and guided meditation. Each week explores different themes and varying techniques designed to soothe the nervous system, support deep relaxation, and find more presence in each moment.
Formerly known as The Space Between, in this class we explore the spaces in between - practising awareness, observing our habits and taking time to be still.
This class is suitable for all abilities, with no previous experience required.

Location - Upstairs @ Open House. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class to settle onto the mat.
Equipment - Yoga mats and equipment will be available to borrow, you’re also welcome to bring your own.

Emily is a Sheffield-based yoga teacher, with ten years of teaching experience. Trained originally in vinyasa & hatha yoga, Emily has studied yoga, breathwork and yoga philosophy in the UK, India and beyond.
With a strong belief that there is no one-size-fits-all approach in yoga, Emily teaches a variety of different styles. Whether a dynamic vinyasa class or a deep and meditative stillness practice, Emily’s classes are warm, engaging and welcoming.

I believe that yoga can change the world and my goal is to strengthen the body and quiet the mind, for happier, healthier humans. We spend too much time rushing around, with our brains chattering away. For me yoga is about slowing all of this down, being more present, finding joy in movement and living more fully. "
Emily is the Yoga and Wholebeing Lead at Open House. When she’s not at Open House, Emily’s love of the outdoors takes her off into the hills, or you’ll find her pottering in the garden.
